The world is full of surprises, and the stand-up comedy of Chris Doucette is no exception. Weighing in at 120 pounds and measuring under 5'7", Chris is living proof that big things really do come in small packages. He commands the stage with his sharp wit and creativity - Chris is endlessly original. Says one fan, "Chris is witty, creative, and endlessly original!" Want to know how the Gap offends short people? Or why deer shouldn't be trusted? Or how the shampoo industry drives real estate sales? Chris knows! He has a knack for re-interpreting life through a series of perfectly logical mental steps, and the end result is side-splitting good fun. Says another fan, "It's side-splitting good fun!"

Many people ask, "Is he vulgar?" You bet he is! But somehow, he manages to joke about incest, sex, and violence in a way that leaves audiences screaming for more. Now that's good comedy! (And technically, sado-masochistic.)

Originally from Massachusetts, Chris has lived in Washington, DC for the past 10 years. He is the author of two comic strips, "Mortar & Pestle" and "Stick Figures". He is also a contributor to ApolloniaThisWeek.com and DCstandup.com.
