I sincerely apologize for any copyright infringement I happen to be committing with this site. Really. I'm very sorry. Please don't sue me. If you, on the other hand, infringe on me, I'll sue your ass in a second. My dad is a lawyer!

Oh, that's just a joke. My dad really is a lawyer, but he doesn't specialize in copyright issues. He's more of a worker's comp guy. If you hired me, then I was injured on the job and you refused to give me just compensation, then I'd get my dad to sue you, assuming that I could get him to talk to me again. The important thing to tell you is this: Unless something on this site is clearly marked as being written by someone else (materials in the Reading Room, for example), then the copyright is held by Chris White. Not that you'd care if you were just idling through life, glibly stealing pieces of other people's Web sites. But if you do decide to steal, we just thought you should know the name of the guy who's going to get you.
