Jon Mumma
As a youngster, Jon dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler. Armed with a curly mullet (alla Jake the Snake Roberts) and a set of Provental Inhalers, Jon and his friends stalked the playground in search of tag team matches. Tragically, a Jimmy Valiant flying elbow to the temple curtailed a promising career as Jon’s parents quickly put the kibosh on any future matches. In the 6th grade, the comedy bug bit Jon and he quickly entered his schools talent competition as a standup comedian. Unfortunately, his jokes were poorly received and his teacher “encouraged” him to leave the stage. Disheartened, Jon swore off comedy completely. In high school, Jon set out to become the most hyperactive and annoying student in the school. By Christmas break junior year, Jon had reached his goal. After high school, he re-grew the mullet and followed Dokken on their “Dysfunctional” tour. Regrettably, Don Dokken’s voice became increasingly irritating and during a stopover in Liverpool, Jon had had enough. He traveled back to Lancaster where he decided to enter college and take the most boring major available, Printing Technology. In 2000, Jon moved to Washington D.C. to embark on a non-fulfilling government career. In 2004, the comedy bug bit Jon again, this time more sensual than the one previously mentioned in the 2nd paragraph. Now that Jon has found a forum in which to share his passion for Knight Rider, he can be found all over the DC metro area begging for stage time. So sit back and get ready to grit your teeth. I cannot be killed. Upcoming ShowsFor Jon's full schedule, check out: www.jonmumma.com |
