Lori Trawinski has been making people laugh for years with her dry wit and observational prowess. Voted class clown by her high school senior class, Lori recently abandoned her thriving career as a financial economist to pursue her true passion-comedy. Growing up Polish, Catholic and in New Jersey required Lori to hone her comic skills as a means of survival. Lori's pursuit of formal comedy training began in Fairfax County under the direction of Jolene Sugarbaker, Trailer Park Queen. Lori also studied stand-up comedy in Los Angeles, where she worked with Comedy Goddess Judy Carter.

Lori recently showcased at the world famous Hollywood Improv-where she brought down the house. Lori also performed at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, where she appeared in the Cathy Lewis Show. Lori appeared in American University's Political Comedy Festival tribute to comedy legend Dick Gregory. Lori recently attended the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and took part in an improv seminar taught by veteran comedian Shelley Berman. Lori has performed at the Palm Springs Comedy Conference in California and appears regularly at clubs around the east coast.

In addition to her interest in comedy, Lori studied acting, drama, and voice at Catholic University, The Theatre Lab, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. After spending way too much time in school, Lori earned a Ph.D. in economics and finance, but hey, now you can call her doctor.
