Martin has been performing on stage in character (Grandma, Vinny the Mobster, Ralph E. Ralph, Clyde K. Snodgrass and Arnold Swatznegger) for many years. In 2006 he decided to transition to his own character via stand-up. He completed the DC Improv stand-up class and has been performing in the tri-state area on a regular basis with much success. He has appear at Wiseacres, DC Improv, DC Improv lounge, Recessions (where he won the funniest comedian in DC contest) YIPEE!!, Topaz, Dr. Dremos (great location no longer there), Baltimore Comedy Factory, Penguins, Loafers, and ejs Landing to mention just a few. In addition, he was feature at the US Coast Guard comedy show in Baltimore, feature at the Oxford house convention at the Hyatt in Washington DC, and feature at Martini"s Lounge in White Plains, Maryland. Currently, he is working with Giovanni and other lawyer comedians on their "Lawyers Can Be Funny" shows. The lawyers will be at EJ"s Landing in College Park on September 6th and the DC improv lounge on November 8th.

His comedy includes tales about his life and family, politics, sex(what comedian doesn't talk about sex), his short comings and observations. Every once in a while one of his character may appear without notice.
