"Hey, you’re a comic, well make us laugh, tell us a joke." "My life offstage, that’s the joke. There, are you happy now Mom?" "Hey, what kind of material do you like to do?" Well, I really like doing funny material; When it's not funny, I don't like doing it?" No one likes that question, bookers excluded, Sean will send you a tape.

Sean Gabbert if fairly new to stand-up (late March will be one year) and has found it the most challenging experience of his life, which also means the most rewarding. While unsure about labels, Sean has earned the respect of local comics, who have called his material, "Smart, unique, edgy, attitude-driven, and funny (most important.)" While continuing to work hard, to one day make a living as a stand-up comic, Sean constantly strives for improvement to make people laugh. "I'm very serious about comedy, very, very serious!!"

Sean sends his love to all the comics in the DC area for their camaraderie and collaborations of the craft, and hopes he can contribute.
