Who is everyone laughing at? Smooth, Refreshing, Great Taste ... no we are not talking about the King of Beers, but rather the comedy stylings of DC’s Prince of Comedy, Tommy Taylor!

The actor/comedian Tommy Taylor, indeed has a Smooth delivery, Refreshing material, and if you are reading this you obviously have Great Taste in comedians!  Tommy began performing stand-up in DC comedy clubs in 2004 and instantaneously realized he was a special talent.  In his first 2 months of ever gracing a stage placed in  Sierra Mists/Comedy Centrals “Search for America’s Next Great Comic” (regional runner-up) and later in “Baltimore’s Funniest Person” competition (semi-finalist) and DCstandups “Komedy Kumite” (play-in winner). Recently, Tommy was also hand selected to participate in the historic "Bay Area Black Comedy Competition" where he was a quarter-finalist. Being a clean comedian, Taylor does not curse or get raunchy with his material.  However, he still captivates audiences from all walks of life.  From the rawest urban comedy clubs, to the most politically savvy mainstream rooms, Tommy uses a combination intelligence and gut-busting comedy that leaves the crowd in stitches.

Tommy has a unique comedic blend of intelligence and urban flare. Growing up in the “Souf East” section of DC, Tommy went on to graduate from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University, where he held a dual-major and dual-minor, and went on to obtain a Masters degree in Business (MBA) from Howard University and Georgetown University.

Tommy recently branched out and produced his own AWARD WINNING sketch comedy show, “The Tommy Taylor Show”(2007 Viewers Choice Award Winner - DCTV). The show has aired locally and nationally on several channels, including H20 Hip-Hop OnDemand, ABC's Local Point TV, DCTV, and The Real Hip-Hop Network The show has also been feature in FORTUNE Small Business Magazine, Sept. 2007 Issue.

With reoccurring roles on HBO’s "The Wire" (seasons 3-5), leading commercial campaigns for "The Washington Post", and "Sony-Ericsson” Mobile Phones, as well as commentary appearance on Martin Lawrence’s 1st Amendment Standup, and Tom Joyner’s “Tom’s Big Break”, and features in the movies Die Hard 4, and National Treasure II, the multi-talented Tommy Taylor Jr. is poised to take the entertainment world by storm.

Tommy's main goal is to be a positive role model and influence in the lives of young people! He works with many organizations such as the BEST FRIENDS FOUNDATION to use comedy to help "At Risk" youth make positive choices in life! He is also personally committed to remaining abstinent until marriage...and that's no joke! Taylor’s dangerous combination of humor and intelligence has captivated audiences across the East Coast; and while some may think Tommy is a “know-it-all” what we “all know” is that this guy is FUNNY!
